Metro chain is one of the biggest chains of supermarkets in Egypt. What distinguishes Metro is that you can find everything there i.e the expensive stuff required by a certain class in the society and other stuff at average or low prices. However, I believe that this is the reason for its reputation as An Expensive Hyper Market. Nasr City branch is a big one, it is very well known for its grilled chicken and petite pan bread (my favorite). It is very well organized; you can find what you need very easily. In addition, everything there is always fresh and within the expiry dates except for the promotions as their dates are normally approaching the expiry dates. Moreover, there is an ATM machine inside it (mostly all metro branches have this feature) which facilitates the purchase process. After enjoying shopping inside this branch, you can have a hot cinnamon rolls or chocobon from Cinnabon or buy a nice caramel tart from Tortina which are all open there.
هو فعلا حاجته غالية شوية بس على فكرة فى عنده حاجات أرخص .والشاطر هو اللى يكون عارف سعر الحاجات اللى عايز يشتريها علشان يقدر يقرر يشترى ايه وما يشتريش إيه.وعموما هو فى حاجات كتير بيبقى سعرها معروف ما ينفعش حد يلعب فيها. الفرع ده يعتبر من اكبر فروع مترو وفى ميزة كمان إنه الفرع الوحيد اللى ليه بابين للدخول باب من ناحية جنينة مول وباب تانى من ناحية شارع البطراوى وده طبعا معناه إنك هتعرف تركن عربيتك براحتك خصوصا فى شارع البطراوى. الفرع كمان منظم جدا وتلاقى كل حاجة انت عايزه من غير ما تدور كتير.. من الحاجات المميزة عندهم قسم البيكري خصوصا العيش البيتى بان وهو لسه طالع من الفرن طازة بيبقى طعمه وهمى .. كمان عندهم أنواع كتيرة جدا من الجبن البارمازان والكشكفال وأنواع تانية كتير وكمان المخلل بتاعهم طعمه مميز جدا خصوصا الزيتون الأخضر المخلى لازم تجربوه . وعلى فكرة كمان قسم الأسماك واللحوم حاجتهم مميزة جدا وعلى طول طازة خصوصا اللحوم وبالذات كباب الحلة .
من اشهر الهايبر ماركت الموجودة وفروعه حلوة ومنتشرة بس الاسعار عنده اغلى من اي هايبر ماركت تاني واعتقد ده بسبب انه بيخدم فئة معينة واجانب لانه فعلا عنده بضاعة مش موجودة في اي هايبر ماركت تاني بحس ان بضاعته مميزة شوية عن اي مكان تاني, بيعجبني اوي قسم الفاكهة والخضروات فيه
I like their freshly squeezed juices.. Especially orange and coconut.. Very nice, cheap and clean.. It is worth to go even to get only juices!
