I went to La Coupe for a haircut last Monday. Atmosphere: Great. No smoking, no noise, no chatty salon assistants. Friendly staff. Hair wash: It was OK. But I found the attempt to copy US salons by massaging the customer's head while washing the hair to be unnecessary since they don't know how to do it. Haircut: No so good. The guy who cut my hair (not the Levant-accented master) had no idea how to cut my hair. I saw the master brushing another customer and her hair looked really good. BUT she had straight hair. I have to say that my hair is not the easiest when it comes to styling or cutting, but if they don't know how to do it, they should listen to instructions more carefully. Bottom line: If you have dry, curly hair and you like to go out without having your hair straightened or styled at a salon, this is not the place for you. Price: Hair cut LE 100, Brushing LE 80 - I found it pricey for the quality I got.
