On Sinai Liberation day on the 25th of April 2010, I decided to spend the weekend with my family in El Ain El Sokhna. Due to the delay in making the reservation, we couldn’t find any available room except in Amigo village, this was the first time to hear about it and I was a little bit worried about the standard of the hotel but we had no other option at the time. When we arrived, the receptionist was very friendly and responded quickly to us with our room’s keys. The village was above our expectations, it is a small village, quiet, and the rooms are near the beach. Its restaurant where we had breakfast and lunch looks over the sea, we enjoyed the wonderful view while we were having meals. The rooms are clean but the bed mattress and pillows were not comfortable and the TV remote control was missing and they couldn’t get us another one because the hotel was fully booked and there was no spare remote control. The meals were served in an open buffet with varieties of food varying between average to tasty food. We enjoyed the vacation. Amigo is really a nice place to spend a weekend without paying too much money.
