AG Chem

- AG Chem, formerly known as EDCO, is a company based in Cairo that specializes in supplying environmentally friendly refrigerant gases to various sectors of the Egyptian market. With over 25 years of experience, the company seeks to expand its production line by offering copper pipes, spare parts, oil separators, pistons, and other essential solutions. AG Chem has collaborations with major refrigeration and medicine device manufacturers in Egypt, as well as government agencies with annual contracts and specific supply schedules. 

 

- The company was previously a distributor of DOW, a renowned American company that supplies polyurethane (thermal insulation material) to refrigerator factories and foam factories, as an additional product with freon (refrigerant gas). AG Chem purchased a 3,500 square meter plot of land in the new industrial zones subject to the investment law, located between the 10th of Ramadan City and Cairo, and close to Obour City, Shorouk, Ismailia, and New Salhiya, to build a station for filling all types and sizes of Freon gases and to accommodate some other activities for filling some types of industrial detergents. 

 

- AG Chem owns two factories; one in Badr Industrial City in Cairo that mixes and fills various refrigerant gases according to international specifications to fulfill the local market's needs, and another in the free zone in Jabal Ataqa in Suez to cater to the global market. The company's products have gained the trust of major companies, which use their names on AG Chem's products in the field of gases. AG Chem also distributes refrigeration and oils in the local markets. 

 

- Recently, the company has built an administrative building in the Clot Bek area in central Cairo, about 50 km from the new factory site in Badr Industrial City. Additionally, the company has expanded its activities to include dealings with major companies that manufacture refrigeration and medicine devices in Egypt and has become an essential part of their production line.

 

- Through our factories, the company also supplies the production lines of major companies that manufacture air conditioners, refrigerators, cooling rooms, and assembled cars in Egypt with different packages and sizes of Freon packaged at the hands of experts and technicians at the highest level, as we are a company specialized in the field of filling environmentally friendly refrigerant gases.
