Great authentic Indian food in Cairo. This restaurant was recommended to me by a friend. It is located inside Karvin Hotel in Heliopolis near Nozha St. I had invited a bunch of people over today for lunch and I thought I would give this restaurant a try. We ordered over the phone and the gentleman was very polite and helpful and guided us through the selection. We ended with a large variety of chicken, lamb, rice, vegetables and everything was absolutely delicious. The meat was tender. The spices were just right and we had some people who claimed to be Indian food lovers and experts and they said this was the best Indian food they had ever eaten in Cairo. I am assuming that the owner is Indian because it all had an authentic flair to it. Prices are reasonable and we ended up paying app. LE 550 for 12 different dishes. Well worth it
