Definition of Dance Schools

It is an educational institution for one of the arts of physical expression, “dance”, that provides lessons in a variety of dancing styles: such as ballet, jazz, hip-hop, and modern dance, and it relies mainly on free movement.

Modern Dance: A reaction from ballet's strict techniques with fluid movements, it focus on natural movement, and its use of improvisation.

Ballet: A form of classical dance, an expressive dance technique accompanied by music, mime, and theatrical scenes.
It originated in Italy during the Renaissance and is characterized by its graceful and often complex movements and is performed in operas and musical plays.

Jazz: A type of improvisational dance with synchronized rhythms and active movements, performed individually, in duos, or in groups. It emerged in the society of the Americas.

Hip-hop: the language of street dance. Its origins go back to Latin American communities and is characterized by its sharp movement and free nature. Hip-hop can be performed alone, in pairs, or in groups.

Zumba dance is a Latin dance movement representing a group of Latin dance types (such as Samba - Salsa - Reggaeton - Cumbia - Merengue - Belly Dance). It is considered a group of dances, and each dance has a specific design to the rhythm of Latin melodies.

Folk dance: A traditional dance that is passed down from generation to generation and performed in groups. It can be a way to celebrate culture and heritage worldwide, and it comes in many different styles.

Folk arts schools:
Folk arts express the people's culture, history, and different societal groups. They are characterized by simplicity and stem from people's customs and traditions and the opinions, ideas, and feelings they express that are passed on from generation to generation.
