Sofitel corniche Nile, I attended a wedding there for my friends cousin. The celebration hall was amazing, it was very big hall, well furnished, well designed and very clean, and the decorations were very sweet and added a great mood to the wedding. As for the food it was amazing, it was an open buffet and the people at the buffet were very friendly and helpful and always put a smile on their face. The hotel itself when I entered was very clean, the reception hall was great. Staff were also friendly wherever I go.. And if the wedding hall and service was that good, I can imagine how the rooms and their services would be.

الفندق دة بصراحة احسن فندق دخلته حتى هذه اللحظة من عمرى، كنت دخلت حضرت فيه فرح بنت خالى كل حاجه كانت معمولة بشكل احترافى او عالمى تحس انك داخل متحف اساسا مش فندق طبعا المكان كفاية انه على النيل على كورنيش المعادى، كمان مكان راقى جدا غير ان الفندق نفسه كبير جدا. القاعة اللى حضرت الفرح فيها كانت خرافة ماشوفتش زيها لحد دلوقت، الخدمة كانت فوق الممتازة، الأكل كان نضيف وطعمه جميل جدا، غير بقى الديكور بتاع كل حاجه من المدخل للأستقبال كانت بجد فوق الممتازة. تروح المكان تكون مبسوط ومش هتندم ابدا بجد ده احسن فندق دخلته لحد دلوقت.

Overlooking the Nile, the Sofitel is located on one of the busiest streets in Maadi. The front desk staff and concierge were friendly and quick with our reservation, but I was not impressed by the appearance of the hotel room. The room was dated with dark walls, 80's decor and old electronics (our room had an old tube TV with NO remote!). Even though the bed was comfortable, the street noise made it difficult to sleep. On the upside, we could see a glimpse of the pyramids from our patio on a clear morning. Our hotel room included a free breakfast buffet. With fresh fruit and many delicious pastries, I found this to be the best part of the hotel. There are a few small gift shops inside the hotel. Also, within walking distance, there is a grocery store (Alpha Market), as well as a variety of restaurants. Just be very careful while walking across the Corniche!
