Katameya is one of the most beautiful courses I have ever seen! I like golfing here, as it’s a great place to escape the city noise, see spectacular views and enjoy fresh air. The cost of membership does NOT include golf. You pay to become a member and then pay a separate fee each time to golf. I find the membership expensive, but if you are looking for a well-maintained and challenging course, Katameya is the best choice. Non-members are allowed to golf, but only with members (for a higher fee). The course is very busy, so you must make a tee time. Before heading out, pick up one of their delicious turkey/cheese sub sandwiches – they are the best and disappear very quickly! If you’re not a golfer, there are still plenty of things to do at Katameya. The clubhouse features a fitness room, spa, restaurant, bar and an outdoor pool. The clubhouse is large and the locker rooms / bathrooms are very clean. There are comfortable leather chairs on the 2nd floor – a perfect spot to relax with a good book. Secure lot parking in front of clubhouse.
