My two kids are students at MES and they both really like it there which I believe is a great testament to the quality of the school. The campus is very large, well equipped and their arts program is fantastic. Every year they produce some musicals and plays that are so well done it blows your mind. The curriculum is tough but MES does a good job making sure everyone gets the support they need and if there is some discrepancies between the levels of the students the school adapts and teaches each kid to their ability. This way you don't hold anyone back and you don't leave anyone behind. It is a British education (later on you can choose either American or British levels) but there is also a good focus on Arabic which was important for us when choosing a school. MES has app. 2,000 students and a waiting list so it is advisable to apply early on. The only drawback for me is the constant changing of the teachers. I approached one Arabic teacher asking him why he was no longer employed with MES and he explained to me that it is cheaper for the school to keep hiring from fresh as the salary levels thereby do not have to increase. Whether or not that is the truth I don't know but considering the very substantial fees the school charge for the children's education the school should be able to afford to keep some of the teaching staff for more than 1 or 2 years. One of the top schools in Egypt in my opinion with one of the best campuses and facilities.
