About Benisuef
Benisuef is the capital of the governorate by the same name. South of Cairo 120 km, the city is one of Egypt’s poorest. It is primarily industrial with limited tourist accommodations. For those travel overland, Benisuef is a common transport switch with many buses departing regularly for Upper Egypt and the Red Sea.
